Parent Sessions via Telehealth

  1. Parent Consultation: Provide parents with emotional support and parent education. 

    -Emotional Support: Parents who feel supported are better equipped to meet the unique demands of parenting during this time of isolation. Many parents are overwhelmed---struggling to work at home, provide home schooling and meet the demands of parenting, while feeling worried and being isolated from family and friends. This is aimed to  increase your well-being, provide support, and have a space to process all the changes/challenges. 

    -Parent Education: Learning skills such as reflective listening, reflecting child’s thoughts and feelings, choice giving, and limit setting.   2. Child Parent Relationship Therapy: Teaches you, parent(s), to conduct special play sessions with your child that are incredibly healing and strengthening for your relationship. CPRT can aid in reducing the challenging behaviors and emotional struggles your child experiences, and that you experience in parenting.
